Designing inclusively

Designing inclusively requires more than just empathy for the people our work intends to serve. It also requires actively shifting power to those individuals in order to truly understand and address their needs and challenges.

At Finchfinger, we recognize that diversity and inclusivity are essential components of human-centered design. That's why we are making a concerted effort to diversify our teams with designers who come from a range of lived experiences and backgrounds. By bringing together a diverse group of perspectives, we are able to approach problems and challenges with a greater depth of understanding and create solutions that are more inclusive and relevant to a wider range of users.

In addition to the benefits for our clients, diversity and inclusivity also bring a range of benefits to our team. By fostering a culture of inclusivity, we are able to attract and retain top talent, as well as foster a more dynamic and innovative work environment.

Overall, designing inclusively is not only the right thing to do, but it also brings a range of benefits to both our clients and our team. By actively shifting power to the people we serve and diversifying our team, we are able to create solutions that are more relevant, effective, and inclusive.
